If you stop subscribing

Here's what happens when your trial ends or your subscription stops.

You can still

  • View and search everything you've saved.
  • Export your places, visits, ratings, and reviews as a JSON file from Settings. Photos aren't included in the file.
  • Delete your account and data.

Needs a subscription

  • Adding or editing places, visits, tags, photos, and friends.
  • Insights, Trips, and GeoInsights.

Why a trial instead of a free tier?

Places I Go has no ads and doesn't sell your data, so subscriptions are how it's paid for. The trial gives you the whole app, not a cut-down version.

Billing, cancelling, and refunds

  • Payment is handled by Apple.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancel anytime from Manage Subscription in the app's Settings, or in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
